LUKE ROBERTSON, USN RET, MBA. Luke Robertson's aviation career commenced in 1999 following his graduation from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and his entry into the Naval Aviation flight program. Over the next 20 years, he piloted various Navy aircraft, including the Tomcat, Hornet, SuperHornet, Boeing 737, and McDonnell Douglas DC - 9. He retired in Virginia Beach, VA, with his wife and son in 2020 and expanded his civilian aviation experience through contract piloting, flight instruction, and aviation man agement. Luke possesses FAA type ratings in the Boeing 737 and DC - 9, CFI, MEI, tailwheel, and has accumulated over 5,600 accident - free flight hours. For the past three years, Luke has been piloting the P - 180 and serves as a lead instructor at Up and Ready Flight Support LLC in Chesapeake, VA
